Tony was born in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, where he still lives today (never escaped). The creation of his first novel, ‘That Bloody Book’, published in 2012, filled the void left by redundancy after a long career in the print industry.

In the intervening years four further novels have been unleashed, ‘The Girl Downstairs’ (2014), ‘The Resurrection of Skinny Ted and the Brothel Creepers’ (2018), ‘The Black Swan Detective Agency’ (2022), and ‘Your Past Will Follow’ (2025).

Tony has worked with Maybe Magazine, a lifestyle publication based in Buckinghamshire, assisting with journalism, media courses, proof reading and editing.

Prior to retirement, Tony spent ten years at Talkback, supporting people with a learning  disability and/or autism. He has written numerous articles on the subject, many of which have been published in Charity Today.

Tony is currently Secretary of Chiltern Writers, and hosts a monthly Writers’ Forum at Aylesbury Library.

He has recently won, or been placed, in local short story competitions.

As well as working on his sixth novel, Tony is compiling a collection of his short stories, accompanied by the odd humorous poem or two.
